I had a very great experience with Cris and his team. I needed something custom-made because I work from home, so I was able to have a custom office built into my kitchen. And it was really great being able to work with Cris and design the kitchen the way I needed it for the space that I use it for.
It worked out really well for me, and I’m very happy with it. I was actually recommended by another owner here in our Sunrise community. So I know you had said 38 projects?

Cris: Yes, we did around here about 38 projects, 38 kitchens, within 10 miles, and Rose is one of them.

Were you recommended by another resident here in the community?

Yeah, I came recommended by another resident. And I had gotten a bunch of other estimates. Cris and his team were very affordable for me and for what I wanted to do with the kitchen. So I am very happy about it. The process was easy, even going to pick out the granite countertops and the designs that I wanted. So yes, very smooth process. Construction went very well. The guys on the team who installed the cabinets were really good and professional and cleaned up, and it worked out really well for me.

A lot of people think custom work is very expensive. Compared to other quotes you received, how was the pricing?

Yes, compared to some of the other quotes that I had gotten from other contractors and other custom kitchen companies, this was affordable for me.

And what about the timeframe? From start to finish, how long did the project take?

We started in July, and I think we were done by the end of August or the beginning of September.

Was there any delay waiting for materials? How did that process work?

We started looking at everything, I think, in May. And we had gotten the estimate and ordered the cabinets. I did not want to start construction until July because I had other things planned. But we were able to do all that in that timeframe. The installation was quick once everything came in.

Once installation began, how long did it take to complete the cabinets and countertops?

Cris: I believe it was around three weeks. Once we selected everything, like she said, the stone, the cabinets, and everything.

And overall, how long did the installation take?

Cris: I would say around three weeks. And here we are on the third floor, which makes it a little bit difficult for us because we have to cut some materials outside. Even with all those situations, we were able to do it in two or three weeks.

The kitchen is absolutely amazing. We are obsessed with it. It completely changed the entire house. Everything is of wonderful quality. We even have family members who work in construction, and they all said everything looks very professional and very well done. We are extremely happy with it, and we absolutely love it. Like I said, it completely transformed our house, and Cris is amazing.

Bela Cabinets did what exactly?

Cris: We did the countertops. She used to have a big wall here, separating the kitchen from the living room. We removed that wall and opened up the space with an open-concept layout. We installed beautiful color-crafted quartz, white Shaker cabinets, and built a small bar.

How did you find Bela Cabinets to complete the job?

Our sister-in-law, Giselle, had her kitchen done by you, as well as my brother-in-law, Steve. They loved their kitchen and recommended you. We had wanted to remodel our kitchen for a while, and we finally decided to move forward.

This was a big project. What was the time frame to complete the job?

Cris: I would say about seven weeks. The entire process included some floor work, removing the wall, and ordering the materials. That’s our standard timeline.

Did the construction disturb you much?

No, it was very doable.

And what about pricing? Was it affordable?

The pricing was great. We spoke with a few different companies. It wasn’t the least expensive option, but you usually get what you pay for. The quality was excellent for the price, and we’re very happy with the results.

I have to say, from beginning to end, they were terrific. They responded immediately to my call. I was in dire straits. I had to fire someone who wasn’t doing a good job. They came in, they felt that I was anxious and upset, and so they, right away, got on it. They said they were gonna be there, they were here, and they did a beautiful job. Very happy with them.

Before that, had you hired another contractor and had a bad experience?

Yeah, I actually hired them in August. We started in August, and here we are in January. What took them four or five months, these two did in two weeks. And I’m enjoying my home.

How did you find them? Was it online?

So I went on the internet after the poor experience. I actually read all the reviews. Both of their names were in the reviews, and everyone said to use them. They were very happy with them, and so I followed up with them, and they came through for me. They were fair and honest, and I was very pleased with them.

Considering the timeline and the quality of the work, would you recommend them?

Highly recommend them. I’ve already shown this house to my neighbors and recommending them to my neighbors and anyone watching this video.
I’m just very happy. When someone tells me they’re coming at 7:30 in the morning, that’s unusual, and they come at 7:15 in the morning, that’s a crew you wanna hire, and that’s what Bruno did for me.

We found their company through a recommendation from family members. And so we had him come here and give us a quote, and to show us some pictures of the material and the quality of the material that they used. So he did a design for us completely. And he brought back the quote on time the next day. And then after that, he was prompt to do the demolition and prompt to start the work. And when the work was done, my wife and I were very satisfied with everything that was presented before and after.

I’m really happy with how it came out. And Cris gave us some suggestions, too, because sometimes we have an idea, and then he suggested, “This is bad, this is not technically so good.” So we are really, really happy with everything, how it came.

What year was this project completed?

Cris: That was four years ago. I believe it was at the beginning of 2019.
And you guys can see that, until today, the kitchen is still looking very nice, like a brand-new kitchen.

And it still looks very nice today, right?

Yes. And let me tell you something that was really interesting, because we did not have enough space here. And then Cris suggested to me, “Lucy, I have some small drawers, and they’re very useful.” And it was really right. It was really right because I really use them a lot. It’s small, but it is really, really, really useful, yes.

Yes, for sure. We have recommended his company to many people who are still satisfied with the quality and the expediency in which he did the work. Many, many customers that I’ve sent to him. Trustful person.
